Summer drinks

13.5.2022

Brand bar manager Asker Khashev this season created a collection of refreshing drinks dedicated to Russian poetry of the 20th century. Each drink is an author's interpretation of the poems of the great poets of the Silver Age: Alexander Blok, Anna Akhmatova, Sergei Yesenin, Vladimir Mayakovsky and Marina Tsvetaeva.

Let's continue our literary "journey", the next tarragon lemonade with cucumber and dandelion is a reflection of the poem "Tabun" (1915) by Sergei Yesenin. The rich color of the drink, as a symbol of green meadows and spring.

Sergey Yesenin
Herd

There are herds of horses in the green hills
They blow away the golden plaque from the days with their nostrils.
From a high mound to a blue bay
The pitch of the swaying manes fell.
Their heads tremble over still water,
And catches the moon with their silver bridle.
Snoring in fright at his own shadow,
With manes they are waiting for a new day.
*
Spring day rings over the horse's ear
With a friendly desire for the first flies.
But by evening the horses are over the meadows
They kick and flap their ears.
All sharper ringing, stuck on the hooves,
Sometimes it sinks in the air, sometimes it hangs on the willows.
And only a wave will reach for the star,
Flies flash like ashes on the water.
*
The sun went out. Quiet in the meadow.
The shepherd plays a song on the horn.
Staring foreheads, listening to the herd,
What the swirling gamayun sings to them.
And the echo is frisky, slipping over their lips,
Carries their thoughts to unknown meadows.
Loving your day and night darkness,
For you, O motherland, I composed that song.
